Looking up the names of tea scoops used in tea ceremony lessons can be quite a challenge. This is a quick reference guide for those looking for beautiful names appropriate for the season. The first half of each month displays names for the previous and current months, while the second half displays names for the current and next month, organized by month. Tapping a name allows you to check its reading, category, and meaning.


[Monthly Search]
Select a month using the buttons from January to December. Selecting "All" allows you to search all months. You can search by name, reading, alternative readings, and category, and refine your search by category and season.


[Favorites]
You can save names you're interested in on your device. If you have favorites, the app will start from the favorites screen the next time you launch it.


[998 Names Stored Offline]
The 998 names normally displayed are recorded by cross-referencing readings and meanings with tea ceremony materials, dictionaries, and classical texts. The monthly arrangement of names is based on the seasonality, events, and classical contexts passed down through tea ceremony materials.

The name list, explanations, search, and favorites are available without an internet connection. Communication only occurs when opening web pages for displaying ads, purchasing ad removal, or support.

[Ads and Ad Removal]
The free version displays banner ads at the top of the screen. Ads can be removed with a one-time purchase of ¥580. There are no monthly fees or automatic renewals. Purchased content can be restored with the same store account.
