Move More Sheffield

Move More is Sheffield’s physical activity strategy, designed to make the city healthier, happier, and more connected. By bringing people together with a shared purpose, Move More aims to promote the vital role of physical activity in improving health and wellbeing for everyone across the city.

This strategy is for everyone – individuals, communities, organisations, and partners – who have a role in shaping Sheffield’s physical and social environment. Whether you're delivering services, designing public spaces, or working directly with communities, Move More provides a shared framework to support collective action.

At its heart are the Move More Principles – practical and flexible ways of working that reflect what matters most to partners across Sheffield. These principles aren’t rules, but guideposts that help align efforts and foster collaboration, ensuring we all contribute to creating a more active city.

Together, we can create a Sheffield where moving more is part of everyday life.
