Review summary

Users praise Twos for its comprehensive features, versatility as a digital bullet journal, and strong developer support. It integrates well with calendars like Google Calendar and offers a rewarding user engagement system. However, consistent performance issues such as lag and crashes diminish the experience, alongside calendar integration problems (especially with Outlook), widget glitches, and occasional UI/UX frustrations. Despite these issues, many find it promising and preferable to other apps for organizing tasks and notes.
Pros
  • Comprehensive feature set including notes, to-dos, calendar, and AI with community support.
  • Excellent integration with Google Calendar and other calendar syncing features.
  • Highly customizable and versatile, acting as a digital bullet journal that combines notes and tasks.
  • Developer responsiveness and continuous app development with added features.
  • Unique reward system that encourages regular user engagement.
  • Free version offers significant functionality compared to competitors' paid apps.
Cons
  • App performance issues including lag, slow load times, and occasional crashes on Android devices, especially newer models like S23 and S24.
  • Calendar integration limitations, particularly inability to set Outlook calendar as primary.
  • Widgets do not update or sync properly; issues with date updates on home screen widgets.
  • Bugs in to-do list features such as duplicated or altered tasks, delayed rollover prompts for unfinished tasks, and clunky UI elements like weekly date picker scrolling.
  • Some UI aspects feel cluttered or unintuitive, including difficult access to weekly calendar view and gamification elements locking features behind rewards, which some users dislike.

Quite comprehensive app, things, notes, calendar, AI, add ons, community is amazing, and the devs are responsive. The UI can get cluttered because how many features there are. Somehow it's not for me for now but I can see how this might be perfect app for someone else. Kudos devs.

Finally an app that does everything I need from a bullet journal app and is in constant development with lots of great additional features. Not to mention that the premium features are much cheaper than competitors.
