English vocabulary memorization app for CSAT, school grades, TOEIC, TEPS, and transfer exams. Create your own vocabulary list with just a photo of your textbook, and memorize the words using 8 learning modes and spaced repetition.
Don't memorize. Remember.
CSAT, School Grades, TOEIC, TEPS, Transfer Exams — Hwangso Voca, the real English vocabulary memorization app for test-takers.
Take a single photo of your textbook to turn it into a vocabulary list, and it schedules review dates so you encounter the words again just before you forget them.
■ A Single Textbook Photo Becomes a Vocabulary List
Take a photo of your school supplementary materials, academy printouts, or vocabulary test papers, and it will find the English words and add them to your vocabulary list.
If you select "Marked Words Only," it will retrieve only the words you have highlighted, underlined, or circled.
You can mark and set aside words you have already memorized or those already in the list.
Korean meanings and short example sentences (English-Korean) are automatically populated for the added words, and you can long-press to correct misspelled words.
Log in to use up to 3 photos for free; after that, it becomes Premium.
The photos you take are used solely for finding words and are not stored on the Hwangso Voca server. (Internet required)
■ Review aligned with the forgetting curve
Memorized words are quickly forgotten after just a few days. Therefore, FSRS interval repetition calculates review intervals to ensure you encounter the words again just before your memory fades.
Once you set the start and duration for each vocabulary list, the review becomes more frequent as the end date (target date) approaches, ensuring that review dates do not exceed the target date.
