TWB Signage

TWB Signage is the digital signage player for Third Wave BBQ. It connects to the TWB content management system via a one-time pairing code and plays the playlist assigned to its venue, around the clock.

Designed for unattended kiosk operation
Once paired, the app continuously fetches its assigned channel from the operator console and plays content at 1080p with hardware-accelerated H.264 decoding. Images (PNG, JPEG, WebP) and videos (MP4) cycle seamlessly. The app restarts itself once a day at 4 AM for memory hygiene and to pick up store updates.

Live updates from the operator
When a manager pushes a new playlist from the TWB CMS, the change reaches every paired screen within seconds via secure server-sent events. Operators can also remotely refresh a TV, clear its cache, and (with future versions) reboot or screenshot.

Made for these devices
Google TV and Android TV running Android 9+ (API 28). Designed for the Fire TV Stick 4K Max and current Google TV / Chromecast generations. Older 32-bit Fire TV Stick hardware is not supported for video playback.

Who can use this
This is a single-tenant operator tool. You must have a TWB CMS account and a pairing code from the operator console at signage.thirdwavebbq.com.au to use the app. There is no public sign-up.

What we collect
Only the technical information needed to operate the device: device fingerprint, heartbeat status, playback events. No personal data, no advertising identifiers, no location. Full details in our privacy policy at https://signage.thirdwavebbq.com.au/privacy.
