Universal TV Remote

Universal TV Remote turns your phone into a remote control for your smart TV. It connects over your home Wi-Fi: no infrared needed, no extra hardware.

WORKS WITH YOUR TV
Choose your TV brand and the app finds your TV on the Wi-Fi in seconds:
• Samsung Smart TV (Tizen)
• LG Smart TV (webOS)
• Sony Bravia (Google TV / Android TV)
• Roku and Roku TVs (TCL, Hisense and more)
• Google TV and Android TV, Chromecast with Google TV
• Philips Android TV
You can also add a TV by typing its IP address.

A FULL REMOTE
Power, D-pad and OK, back, home and menu, volume and channels (hold to repeat), mute, input, number pad and media keys. Big, easy buttons with a light vibration on every press.

TOUCHPAD
Swipe to move through menus and tap to select. On LG TVs the touchpad moves the on-screen pointer like a mouse.

KEYBOARD
Type searches on your TV from your phone's keyboard: much faster than with arrow keys.

OPEN YOUR APPS
Launch your TV apps from your phone. On Roku and LG you see the apps installed on your TV.

MY TVS
Save several TVs (living room, bedroom…) and switch between them with one tap.

HOW TO CONNECT
1. Connect your phone to the same Wi-Fi as your TV.
2. Choose your TV brand and pick your TV from the list.
3. The first time, accept the message on your TV (Samsung, LG) or type the code shown on the TV (Sony, Philips, Google TV).

Note: turning a TV on over Wi-Fi only works on models that allow it (for example "Power On with Mobile" on Samsung). Roku players may need "Control by mobile apps" enabled in their settings.

Universal TV Remote is an independent app. It is not affiliated with, endorsed or made by Samsung, Sony, LG, Roku, Google or Philips. Brand names are used only to identify compatible TVs.
