Users consistently report that the PGA Championships Official App suffers from serious delays in live scoring, frequent freezing and glitches, poor navigation and usability, unreliable streaming with excessive ads, and notification issues. While some users find it functional at times, the overall experience is frustrating and significantly below the standard set by other major golf apps like the Masters app.

Navigation is poor: searching players is difficult, leaderboard is not user-friendly, and the app refreshes unexpectedly to non-preferred views.
Streaming video and audio are unreliable, often freezing or interrupted by excessive commercials.
App notifications persist even after being turned off and there are frequent prompts to update the app.

2026 Update The app was constantly jammed up with pop up ads, the range session link at the top, and cookies disclaimer at the bottom. Constantly had to close and reopen after freezing. Per usual, corporate greed over consumer satisfaction. 2025 PUT A NEW TECH TEAM TOGETHER FOR NEXT YEAR. this is the worst golf app I've ever used. They put so many ads and cookie warnings they made it impossible to use. The app should be about speed and accuracy, not cookies and ADS

every other "major" app allows free live coverage, this app only allows live listening. The app also asked for my location data to personalize notifications and ads? make it make sense. just another greedy, take more, give less precedent being set by the pga
