I own Anker, Ecoflow, and various off-brand solar battery generators and this is the only one that continuously loses signal with the generator and never reconnects on its own unless you physically push the reconnect button on the 18v-generator itself . I have to say this is a great concept but Ryobi definitely needs to do better especially for its consumers

2022-09-26	Ja*****	I have two electric start 2300 generators for a month now. I have seen read where engine will shut down after a couple mins. I had this happen to me on one of my generators. Either there is a low oil or high temp shutting it down. I changed (added) oil and all is good now. Second issue I have is with app. When in parallel mode at bottom shows and says total watts. This is not true. It is showing only one generator watts. Other than that everything is doing a great job ryobi

2021-11-27	Si*****	3 years of ownership of a pair of these gens and thousands of hours! They both still start on the first pull and have been very reliable. The only downside is that I too, have had issues with shutting down the gens with the app. They start shutting down but right before they stop completely, they start back up. The only reason I can think of why this might be happening, is that with this many hours, the motors have started to 'loosen' up, so they spin a bit longer on shut down than the app's timer is set for? Not enough of an issue for me to deduct a star but I would still like it to work. Update 11/2021: 4 years and still going strong!

2020-12-22	Mi*****	Decent portable generator. Gets a lot of use on our farm and has yet to let us down, 3 years going strong. The app definitely makes its nice to monitor the unit and shut it down if needed. Never had an issue with random restarting.
