Block the apps that eat your day. See the hours you have left on one calm ring.
Your day has 1440 minutes. How many are still yours?
Suddenly it's night, and you got nothing done. Most of that time didn't disappear—it went into your phone, one unnoticed minute at a time. 1440 shows the free time you have left today on one calm, glanceable ring, then helps you protect it by putting a daily limit on the apps that eat it.
BLOCK THE APPS THAT EAT YOUR DAY
The Usage tab turns screen time into something useful. Group the apps that take your day (social, games, video), set one daily limit, and 1440 shields them the moment you reach it—so you stop and choose instead of scrolling on.
• Group apps and set a daily limit per group
• Automatic shield (block screen) when a limit is reached
• A usage dashboard that shows which group is eating your day
• App limits are optional. Change them any time, or turn them off.
Most of your day is already taken—sleep, work, commuting—what 1440 calls your fixed time. What's left is your free time: the hours you can actually invest in yourself. 1440 makes that visible the instant you glance at your phone or a widget.
WHY 1440 IS DIFFERENT
Plenty of apps count down the year, your lifespan, or a to-do list. 1440 is about one thing: today. Your day starts when you wake and ends when you sleep, so 1440 counts the time you can actually use—not a fixed midnight-to-midnight clock. It's a day progress tracker built around real life.
A RING FOR YOUR DAY
• The ring is your day. Fixed time (sleep, work, travel) fades into the background.
• Your free time stands out in color, with the minutes remaining shown big in the center.
• A position dot shows exactly where you are in your day.
PRESETS FOR HOW YOU ACTUALLY LIVE
Your Tuesday isn't your Saturday. Build presets—"Office Monday," "Remote Tuesday," "Weekend"—each with its own wake and sleep times and fixed blocks like work, class, or commuting. Switch presets with a single tap, any time of day. No rigid setup, no friction.
NEVER GUILT, NEVER LECTURES
Status is shown with calm color and a shield icon—never guilt, never lectures, never red warnings. 1440 doesn't ask "how many minutes did you burn?" It asks "how many minutes are still yours?"
APP BLOCKING AND ACCESSIBILITY
When you use the app-blocking feature, 1440 uses Android's accessibility service (AccessibilityService API). It is used solely to detect when an app you set a limit for comes to the foreground, so 1440 can show a block screen and help you keep your daily limit. 1440 never reads, collects, logs, or shares your screen contents or any personal data. Everything is processed on your device and nothing is sent to any server. This feature is optional and requires your explicit on-screen consent before it is enabled. You can turn it off at any time in Accessibility settings.
WIDGETS BUILT TO BE GLANCED AT
1440 is designed to be checked, not opened. Home Screen and Lock Screen widgets keep your remaining minutes one glance away, so you stay aware of your day without another app to open.
