Features & Capabilities

Area Meter is a user-friendly Chrome extension designed to help you quickly calculate the area of any selected region, perfect for real estate measurements. By simply placing markers on your map using GPS, you define your property's boundaries easily.

To use, start by marking your initial location with the 'Start point' button, then add additional points with 'Next point'. Adjust markers by dragging or tap them to view details and make precise edits. Once the boundary is set, press 'Get area' to instantly view the area calculation highlighted with a red polygon on the map.

User Reviews

Users appreciate Area Meter for its effectiveness in measuring land areas and official use. However, common issues include dependence on GPS for pin placement, difficulty in marker accuracy, limited measurement units (missing square feet), and inability to find locations or enter addresses manually. The app is noted to be suitable mainly for outdoor usage.
