User Reviews

Users consistently praise Browsor for its text-first, data-saving approach: text-only mode, ad-free browsing, a lightweight and stable reading experience, and useful customization (images/JS toggling and dark theme). Recurring drawbacks include occasional slow page loads, no page caching for offline continuity, and some navigation/UX quirks or site rendering limitations in text mode. Overall, it’s highly favored by data-conscious readers who want a minimal, distraction-free browsing experience, with some reliability and compatibility caveats.
Pros
  • Text-only mode dramatically reduces data usage and distraction by blocking images and ads, improving readability.
  • Ad-free, lightweight experience with minimal bloat and no ads or paywalls.
  • Stable, simple, distraction-free reading experience that stays focused on text.
  • Customization options to control content loading (images/JavaScript) and appearance (dark theme) for data savings and readability.
Cons
  • Page loading can be slow for certain searches or non-URL actions, indicating inconsistent performance.
  • No page caching or offline continuity, so you can't easily resume a read page after closing or losing connectivity.

It's how uninteresting almost all of the Internet is without images. Maybe there's a way to do text only better for Android, but this does the job.

Best browser that I have used. 1. Stable doesn't glitch 2. Has dark theme 3. Not addictive, I use text only option 4. I used it in a simple way, by using google as a link opening browser and this is the browser that it open because I have set it to deafult. 5. Simple, no fuss, doesn't remind you to pay the app to use more features. 6. All free, no limit to browse.
