Security

Tred is partnered with a distributor of an 'Electronic Money Institution' (EMI) registered with the FCA. This means that we protect your funds by a process known as 'safeguarding'. Safeguarding means that 100% of customer funds are held in a separate account from other company funds, and aren't allowed to be used for any other purpose (eg. investment).

Sustainable debit card

For every payment made on your Tred card either in person or online, we donate a percentage of revenue we make to reforestation projects either local to us in Yorkshire or around the world. Tap your card with pride: it’s made from recycled plastic, and we offset its manufacture and delivery. Now that’s a green card. Carbon accounting

Get an instant understanding of your business’ impact with our comprehensive and automated carbon footprint tracking technology and show customers and clients that you’re taking control of your impact. Transaction data from your bank goes a layer deeper than accounting data, showing us more details about what type of thing you bought and from where allowing us to maximise the accuracy of our footprint calculations.
