User Reviews

The NIV Bible Commentary app is praised for its comprehensive, clear, and spiritually enriching commentary, making it valuable for Bible students and new believers. However, recurring issues include difficult-to-read highlighted verses due to text color changes, incomplete Bible verses displayed in the app, and lack of information regarding the commentary's author. Some users also find it challenging to copy or extract commentary content. Despite these issues, the app is considered an excellent resource for personal devotion and scripture study.

Pros

Comprehensive and detailed commentary providing good depth and insights.
Easy to understand explanations suitable for new believers and Bible students.
App facilitates daily devotions by offering focused, scripture-based commentary without lengthy texts.
Quality content that users appreciate and find spiritually enriching.

Cons

Highlighting verses causes the text to turn white, making it hard to read especially with light highlight colors.
Some Bible verses appear to be incomplete or cut off in the app compared to hard copy versions.
Users have difficulty identifying the author of the commentary within the app.
Lack of functionality or clarity on how to copy or paste commentary content.

Recent reviews

Great resource and a very comprehensive commentary. One problem though. When you highlight a verse with any colour, the chosen text goes white which makes it difficult to read when using a lighter colour as the highlight colour. Still a great resource and the quality of the commentary almost makes up for the colour issue. Thanks dev and God bless you.
