TrackAbout is a cloud-based enterprise asset tracking and management app designed for businesses that manage returnable, reusable, and portable physical assets. Intended for TrackAbout customers, the app enables workers to scan barcodes with a smartphone camera, capture optional GPS locations, and view full asset histories. Common use cases include compressed gas cylinders, kegs, IBC totes, durable medical equipment, chemical containers, roll-off dumpsters, small tools and more.

The app supports a wide range of asset operations — from registering assets, transfers, deliveries (including proof of delivery), inspections, maintenance, fills/empties, packing/unpacking, inventory counts, and custom dynamic forms to generic, configurable actions. Follow-On Tracking® users have streamlined move/volume/set operations and department lookups. TrackAbout integrates with Bluetooth printers and devices and requires Android 7.0+. Permissions requested include camera (barcode scanning), location (GPS and Bluetooth configuration), Bluetooth (printers/devices), and file/media access for attaching photos.
