Features & Capabilities

The "Track a Phone Number" Chrome extension offers a quick and reliable way to locate and track mobile numbers. It sends an SMS containing a URL to the target phone; once the user consents and has enabled location services, their exact geographical position is pinpointed within a few meters radius.

This service requires the target device to be connected to the internet with location settings enabled. Upon obtaining consent, the location is sent back to the requester via SMS. The location data is presented on a detailed map allowing zoom and street name views, facilitating easy tracking and navigation.

User Reviews

Reviews are polarized. A minority praise the app for reliable tracking and remote monitoring, but many users report it as fraudulent and a scam, with charges incurred before any results are delivered. The most common complaints are pay-to-use restrictions, lack of useful tracking data, and difficulties obtaining refunds, with some accounts of ongoing charges after payment. Overall, perceived value and trust are major concerns despite occasional mentions of performance improvements.

Pros

Accurate/reliable tracking results when it works
Remote monitoring capabilities (read messages and calls)
Generally positive performance after updates and when functioning properly

Cons

Fraud/scam allegations; users report being charged without receiving results and asking for refunds
Pay-to-use model; essential features require payment/upgrade, leading to poor value
No useful tracking data or reports; app often fails to track or provide information
Persistent charges after payment and difficulties obtaining refunds (refunds denied or delayed)
