Tower Puzzle Rush

Tower Puzzle Rush - a block placement game played on a seven by six grid with a shelf of five coloured blocks underneath it. A block is taken from the shelf and put on any empty cell, either by tapping the shelf and then the cell or by dragging the block straight onto the grid, and the cell under the finger is highlighted while the block is being dragged. Every placement costs one drop from the counter shown above the grid. When a row or a column becomes completely filled it is built: the filled cells are removed and the structure standing above the grid gains a floor, while a filled strip made of a single colour counts as two floors instead of one. After a strip is cleared a few fresh blocks fall onto free cells, so the grid keeps its density and the layout has to be read again before the next placement. Each stage sets a number of floors to reach and a fixed number of drops to reach them with, the counters for both are always on screen, and the stage ends when the drops run out before the floor target is met, with a sheet that offers another attempt or a return to the main screen. A finished stage shows how many floors were raised and leads straight into the next one. Twenty stages are laid out on a trail sheet, each asking for more floors while allowing fewer drops, and cleared stages stay marked on the trail so progress is kept between launches and any opened stage can be started again from the map. A stage can be held at any moment from the button next to the stage title, which opens a sheet with continue, restart and exit to the main screen. The game runs in portrait, works without a network connection and has no sound.
