Torn Realms

The world that was before, is no longer. When too many powerful wizards grasped and tugged at the very magical threads that held the gods within heaven, they finally broke, releasing immeasurable power and magic upon the lands. This led to chaotic times and broke apart ancient monarchies, civilisations and peaceful peoples.
Now the lands are broken into small fiefdoms, villages and shattered shadows of their past glories.
