TopInfrared’s Android app is free and feature-rich (2D editing, false color, temperature warnings, isotherm). It’s helpful for HVAC and insulation work, and often works well on some setups. However, multiple reviewers report serious reliability issues: device compatibility problems on newer/older devices, unstable connections, and display glitches such as upside-down images. Basic editing tools like rotation are missing, and exporting can crash or lose edits. Localization/Support also appears weak. Overall, powerful when functional, but plagued by instability and missing essentials.

Recent reviews

Really not sure why the software is getting low reviews. No issues creating a Wi-Fi hotspot to attach the phone or connecting to my Wi-Fi to check for updates. You can even turn off the display of the camera and just use your phone for that. Loving the ability to basically see through walls. Excellent product. I see no issues.
