tokindle is free to use every day. premium is an optional subscription for heavier readers: no daily limit, bigger digests, and epub, docx and mobi alongside pdf. cancel any time.

tokindle is made by one person who reads a lot on a kindle. the reading ledger, the covers and the digests exist because they made the maintainer's own mornings better. if something does not work for you, the help page in the app reaches a real person.
