Treasure Island Quest

Treasure Island Quest is a single-player offline treasure hunting game built around one simple but original idea: every tile of sand you uncover can either reward you with gold or wake up an ancient trap. There are no levels in the usual sense and no endless runner loop. Instead, you choose one of three handcrafted island expeditions, each with its own grid size, treasure goal, and number of hidden dangers, and you decide which tile to dig next.
The game uses a custom mechanic that mixes classic minesweeper logic with a treasure hunter theme. You start every expedition with three hearts and a fixed number of digs. Tiles can hide a treasure, an ancient trap (spike floor or jungle snake), an aged hint scroll that reveals how many treasures lie next to it, or just empty sand. To win, you must reach the gold goal before you run out of digs or hearts. Streaks of three or more treasures in a row reward you with bonus score, so the game pushes you to read the hints carefully instead of digging blindly.
Three expeditions are included from the start: Sandy Shore as a calm introduction, Wild Jungle for medium pressure, and the Cursed Cave that holds the largest reward and the highest density of traps. Each expedition tracks its own best score, number of runs, and number of wins, so the player can revisit any island and try to beat their personal record at any time.
The app also comes with a Lore section that contains short, hand written facts about lost pirates, ancient temple traps, treasure maps, and phantom islands, presented as illustrated cards. A separate Achievements hall tracks long term goals such as total treasures found, total traps survived, longest streak, and mastery of each expedition. A Settings screen lets the player change the captain name, toggle sound and vibration, hide or show hint numbers, adjust the trap density, and reset progress or settings independently.
The interface is built specifically for mobile screens. It uses a single warm tropical color palette across every screen, custom illustrated assets, and a fully responsive layout that adapts to small phones, large phones, and tablets, in both portrait and landscape, without overflow. The app does not require an internet connection, does not request unnecessary permissions, and stores all progress only on your device.
Treasure Island Quest is designed for short sessions of focused decision making. One tap can win the run or end it, and that single mechanic is what makes every expedition feel different from the last.
