Review summary

Hellfire offers a fun, easy-to-pick-up arena shooter with solid mobile performance and non-pay-to-win monetization. Players praise the fast-paced combat and retro vibe, especially with friends. The downsides noted across reviews include bot-dominated matches and a dwindling player base, few updates or new maps/weapons/skins, and an ad-heavy model. A few also mention aiming/movement quirks and missing offline support. If you’re after quick, casual FPS action and don’t mind bots and ads, it has potential to be a top mobile arena shooter.
Pros
  • Fun and fast-paced arena shooter with an old-school movement feel.
  • Easy to learn controls that let you jump into action quickly.
  • Smooth performance on mobile.
  • Non-pay-to-win monetization with cosmetic IAPs and a small ad-removal option.
  • Enjoyable to play with friends and casual-friendly gameplay.
Cons
  • Bots dominate most matches; hard to find real players.
  • Very small/declining player base with few updates or new content.
  • Ad-heavy monetization; watching ads after every match can be intrusive.
  • Requests for more maps, weapons, and skins with little content added over time.
  • Aiming/movement controls could be improved (accelerometer aiming missing; movement speed could be increased).

This game is the closest thing to a Quake, but it is too simple to be competitive. You should add power ups like in real Quake, gyroscope would be perfect addition for a competitive game

Pretty fun for a mobile arena shooter. Runs well enough, has limited options as expected, yet manages to satisfy with its old-school strafing b-hop combat. My only major gripe was having to watch an ad after every match until realizing it's only $2 to remove them. The other IAPs are purely cosmetic so this is a decent offering for a mobile shooter that doesn't use P2W tactics to prey on its users.

it's pretty fun but I feel like the aiming needs a little bit of fixing but otherwise great game
