Why intent tags?
Most read-later apps treat everything the same: one inbox, one sort order, one "later". Tidemark asks the only question that matters: why did you save this? A receipt you need to file is not the same as a film someone recommended. A link you might buy is not a tutorial you want to read. Tagging by intent at capture time means triaging takes seconds, not an evening.

Why offline?
Your stash is private by definition. What you save reveals what you care about, what you're researching, what you're shopping for. Tidemark stores everything in a local database on your phone. Nothing is uploaded — including OCR text, voice transcription, screenshots, and the JSON backup. Network access is used only by Google Play to verify a Pro purchase, and only when the unlock sheet is open.
