Tidal Drop

Tidal Drop is a fast, one-thumb bioluminescent arcade game of radial timing set deep in a glowing ocean.

A tiny spark of plankton drifts endlessly around a deep-sea current, circling one tidal ring at a time in a field of concentric glowing currents. Around every ring, drifting jellyfish tentacles sweep in their own direction and speed, leaving one narrow safe gap open. Tap anywhere and the spark RISES outward to the next current -- but only a rise timed through the open gap floats you clean. Rise into a sweeping tentacle and the spark is pushed back down to its previous current and you lose a breath.

The catch is that nothing ever stops. Your spark keeps drifting around its current, the tentacles keep sweeping, and you have to read where the safe gap will be when your rise lands. Hover on your ring, watch the drift, wait for the opening to line up with your spark, then rise through the gap toward the shimmering surface far above. Glowing pearls ride the safe gap on some currents -- rise through one to gather it for bonus points and a cleaner ascent.

Break all the way out to the surface to clear the depth. Work your way through ten hand-tuned depths that sweep faster, crowd in more tentacles and narrow the gaps the deeper you dive, and chase a new best score on every run.
