Ereader: EPUB PDF & TXT Reader

Ereader is an ebook reader and document organizer for EPUB, PDF and TXT files on your device. Import your own books, notes and documents, keep them in a library and choose reading settings that suit the file. It is designed for personal reading material rather than a store or subscription catalog of books.

EPUB and text reading
Open supported EPUB ebooks and TXT documents. Use chapter navigation when available and return to the reading position saved for your document.

PDF document viewing
View supported PDF files alongside your text documents. A PDF’s fixed page layout differs from reflowable text, so the available reading controls depend on the document format.

Reading preferences
Adjust text size, line spacing, font and reading theme for supported text views. Choose scrolling or page-based reading where available to make longer documents easier to follow.

File organization and import
Organize documents in folders, search your library and import files through the available file or local Wi-Fi transfer tools. Supported archive and document processing options help prepare material for reading.

Everyday uses
Useful for reading your own ebooks, reviewing course notes, browsing a PDF handout or keeping a collection of plain-text documents organized. You supply the content; the app does not include paid books or provide access to another service’s library.

How to use
Import a supported file, place it in your library or folder, open the reader, adjust the available display settings and use chapters or the saved position to continue later.

Important information
Keep a backup of important documents before moving or converting them. Text extraction from image-only PDFs is different from extracting selectable text. Protected files, unusual encodings and complex layouts may not be compatible with every reading or conversion feature.

Keep the source file
Before converting, compressing or reorganizing a document, keep an original copy if the content matters. An export can change layout, image quality or metadata. Compare the result with the source instead of assuming that successful processing means every detail has been preserved.

Check the complete output
Inspect the entire result rather than only its first visible section. Check orientation, order and small details where relevant. A file can open successfully yet contain a layout or readability issue that only becomes visible later in the document or recording.

Work with readable sources
Clear originals produce more useful results. For a photographed document, avoid shadows and angled capture. For a digital file, use an unprotected compatible version when possible. An unclear or damaged source cannot always be repaired by choosing a different output setting.

File names and organization
Give important files names that help you distinguish the topic, date or version. When several files look similar, open the one you selected before editing or sharing it. A simple naming habit can reduce confusion between an original, a draft and an exported result.

Permissions in context
Use the permission that corresponds to the task. Camera access supports capture or scanning, while selected file and image access lets you choose your own material.

Access and subscriptions
Some tools, higher usage limits or output options may require paid access. The app shows the available features, price and billing period before purchase. Google Play subscriptions renew automatically unless canceled. Manage or cancel a subscription in Google Play. Trial availability, if offered, is shown at checkout.
