6yr top pro review: Constantly over reaching to control the contractors business. From mandatory auto scheduling to in-app payments to creating faux phone numbers so TT can screen customer/pro conversations and now being texted for every lead and message received. WHY ARE YOU TEXTING ME WHEN YOUR APP GIVES NOTIFICATIONS ALREADY? WHY IS THERE NO OPT OUT? Now im being charged for leads that im not able to contact because i won't agree to the new t&c letting TT blow my phone up with calls/texts.

while I get most of my leads from this app I'm really angry with the new forced AI response system...work with my hands and I'm very busy. I don't have time to fight an AI system for half an hour just to reply to a client in my own words

They recently changed their policies about refunds. We were able to select (customer unresponsive) in order to get a refund for simply texting a new "lead." They no longer allow this as a valid reason for refunding. This is an unacceptable condition for business. Shame on your business Thumbtack. What you have done allows fake customers to send texts, pretending to need help from professionals. Only to cancel their order at the last minute and then force us to pay for texting them. Scam.
