Gardening and time in nature can help support physical health, improve mental wellbeing, let you connect with others, offer lifelong learning and make you feel connected to nature.

Through Cultivating Wellbeing, create your personalised garden and nature wellbeing plan. Choose from a wide range of activities with step-by-step guides, record thoughts and mood in a reflection diary and get gentle motivation to keep on track.

Personalise your gardening wellbeing plan based on your available space, time and preferred activities. Let Cultivating Wellbeing do the work so you can enjoy time in gardens and nature!

WIDE RANGE OF ACTIVITIES
Find a host of seasonal activities to suit you and your space. That could be growing and nurturing plants over time, interacting with nature indoors, or quick wellbeing boosts to try, from nature photography to a sensory walk.

RECORD YOUR THOUGHTS
Reflect on what you’ve done, seen and enjoyed and keep track of your mood. Gain a sense of which gardening and nature activities give you a mood boost. Enjoy looking back on what you’ve done.

Get gentle prompts, if that’s what helps you stay motivated. Cultivating Wellbeing is there to celebrate your achievements as you enjoy time in gardens and nature.

Cultivating Wellbeing is accredited by the Organisation for the Review of Care and Health Apps (ORCHA). The University of Essex Green Exercise Research Team have positively evaluated its impact during the pilot phase.

CREATED BY EXPERTS IN THERAPEUTIC HORTICULTURE
Cultivating Wellbeing has been created by Thrive, the gardening for health charity. Thrive has more than 40 years of specialist knowledge in the use of STH (social and therapeutic horticulture).

Cultivating Wellbeing costs £2.49 a year to access, available via an in-app subscription. You can enjoy a 14-day free trial before your subscription is fully activated, giving you the opportunity to build your plan and start activities. Cancel any time before the 14-day period is up and you will not be charged. Please be aware that if you do cancel your subscription before the 14-day period, you will no longer be able to access your plan or activities once the 14 day period is over.
