MindBell

MindBell is a simple, beautiful meditation timer designed to help you build a consistent practice - whether you're brand new to meditation or returning to it.

Set your session length, choose a bell sound, and press Begin. MindBell guides you through three phases - a preparation period, your main meditation, and a gentle wind - down - marking each transition with a soft bell.


PRESETS
Save your favourite session configurations as presets. A quick 5-minute reset, a focused 20-minute morning session, or a calming evening wind-down - each saved with its own timings, bell sound, and visual settings.


BELL SOUNDS
Choose from six carefully crafted sounds:

* Tibetan bowl - warm and resonant
* Zen bell - clear and clean
* Crystal bowl - high and pure
* Soft chime - gentle and light
* Deep gong - slow and grounding
* Silent (screen flash) - for deaf and hard-of-hearing users

SESSION COLOURS
The colour of light affects your body clock. MindBell offers three session backgrounds:
* Black - neutral, works any time of day
* Deep red - minimal impact on melatonin, ideal for evening sessions before sleep
* Daylight blue - signals alertness, perfect for morning sessions before work

CANDLE ANIMATION
An optional animated candle flame during your meditation phase - a focus point for open-eye techniques such as candle gazing (trataka).

THREE-PHASE TIMER
* Preparation (optional) - settle in and arrive
* Meditation - your main practice
* Wind-down (optional) - ease back into the world
