Features & Capabilities

Bird watching app containing photos and information for over 600 birds that either live or have been spotted in Great Britain and the British Isles.

Works completely offline, with no need for additional downloading. Filter birds based on type, or status in the UK or search for them by name. Enlarge the images for easier viewing by touching them.

You can now listen to the songs of over 40 of the birds, with lots more to come in future updates.

The app lets you mark the birds that you've spotted to help keep track of which species have been seen and which are still eluding you.

A must-have for all keen ornithologists, birders, birdwatchers, twitchers or whatever you choose to call yourself!

Very useful app.
Great app with informative and intuitive layout.
Comprehensive and easy to use.
Includes useful features like bird songs and photos.
Good quality pictures and sounds.

Cons

Incompatibility with newer phone models.
Lack of automatic location feature.
No backup/sync or export feature for user data.
Search option should recognize any part of the bird name.
Data loss when changing phones.

Recent reviews

Used this app for many years on my Huawei p30. Having recently upgraded my phone to the Google pixel 7 sadly this app is not compatible with this phone which is a real shame and frustration as I really enjoyed the experience of using this app on my old phonen
