SBC Ghana Delivery App

SBC Delivery is the official field-operations app for SBC Ghana's delivery teams. From the moment a driver checks in for the day to the moment the dispatch is closed, every step of the field operation lives in one place — attendance, truck loadouts, route plans, outlet visits, deliveries, empties, and live GPS tracking.

The Daily Workflow

- Attendance with face verification. Drivers check in with a live selfie so you know the right person is on the right truck. Location services must be on before sign-in, and check-in is mandatory before any delivery work can start.
- Assigned Loadouts. Confirm the day's truck load before leaving the distributor, with a stock-in-hand list grouped by product category and the dispatch / loadout number on every card.
- Visit Plan. See the day's scheduled outlets in route order, with live progress stats (scheduled, visited, remaining). Filter and search across all stores, productive, non-productive, and presale segments.
- Walk-in Customers. Serve outlets that aren't yet in the system. The app prompts for a name, checks the server and the local database for similar outlets within 1 km, and prevents accidental duplicate registrations.
- Outlet Registration Wizard. A guided three-step form captures outlet name, type, channel, KD, region, district, route, visit days, owner and assistant contacts, address, TIN, storefront photo, and precise GPS.
- Cooler Management. Track distributor-owned coolers at each outlet — serial numbers, capacity, photo evidence, and complaints.

Deliveries

- Per-outlet visit flow: product quantities, validation against current truck stock, automatic empties calculation, invoice photo, and one-tap save.
- Empties handling. Returnable glass bottles are calculated against the order quantity automatically — equal returns clear the customer, missing returns are charged to the invoice. No manual maths.
- Direct Sale (on-spot) and Pre-Sale modes, both fully supported.
- Skip / no-delivery flow with structured reason codes.

Live GPS Tracking

- Real-time GPS streamed over MQTT to your fleet dashboard while a dispatch is active.
- Battery-aware frequency. 10 seconds on a healthy battery, 30 seconds at medium charge, 60 seconds at low charge — fully automatic.
- 10-metre movement gate. A parked truck stays silent instead of flooding the dashboard with the same coordinate.
- Offline-first. GPS points queue locally in SQLite when the connection drops and flush automatically on reconnect.
- Foreground service. Tracking continues even when the screen is off or the driver moves to another app.

Workflows and Approvals

- New outlet registrations enter an in-process queue and become permanent customers after approval.
- Loadout requests, cooler complaints, and other side workflows live in one tab.
- End-of-shift check-out with location verification so the driver clocks out from the right place.

Offline-First Design

The driver's day doesn't stop when the signal does. Every visit, order, no-delivery, outlet registration, and GPS point is persisted locally and synchronised to your servers when connectivity returns — without the driver having to remember anything or push a manual sync button.
