It is important that you consult with one of our prescribing Doctors, before making any change to your diet. The reference ranges provided in the APP are specific to measurements provided on the bioimpedance composition technology used by our prescribing Doctors. For this reason, you should only use this APP if you have consulted and weighed in with one of our prescribing Doctors in Australia.


THE DOCTOR’S APP

We all know prevention is better than cure, and one way to help prevent illness is to keep tabs on key indicators of your health – weight, body fat, visceral fat, muscle mass, metabolic age, and BMR (at rest).

This APP is used as part of the Doctor’s prescribed weight loss meal program.


Using the latest bioimpedance technology during your consultation with a prescribing Doctor, they can now reliably measure and give you the key indicators of your health which you can capture with the Doctor’s APP. At each follow up consultation with a prescribing Doctor, you can enter your individual results and track the progress of your success in improving your overall health.


THE DOCTOR’S PRESCRIBED WEIGHT LOSS MEAL PROGRAM

The Doctor’s prescribed weight loss meal program uses the latest bioimpedance composition scales to monitor your muscle mass and metabolic rate – showing you which type of tissue you are losing as you lose weight.


If you lose too much muscle, your metabolic rate drops, which means your body needs less fuel (calories) to survive each day. If you need less energy to live, you need to eat even less to be in a calorie deficit and lose fat, hence losing muscle is what our prescribing Doctors try to avoid.


Seeing a prescribing Doctor will enable you to monitor your biometrics and track your muscle mass and metabolic rate using this APP. This allows our Doctors to make changes to your eating plan to prevent muscle loss and maximise your metabolism, hence kick starting your fat loss again.
