Zoluto is a mobile software tool designed to optimize and simplify the calculation of concentrations and chemical preparations in the laboratory.

📋 Main Features

Unit Conversion: Allows direct conversions between Molar (M) and grams per liter (g/L) concentration units.

Mass Calculation: Accurately determines the mass of a solute needed to prepare a solution with a specific volume and concentration.

Dilution from Stock Solution: Calculates the initial volume of a stock solution required to obtain a desired final concentration.

Final Dilution Volume: Evaluates the total volume resulting from dilution processes.

Final Concentration: Determines the theoretical concentration of a dilution after its volume has been modified.

Compound Management: Includes a module to create, import, and export a custom list of chemical compounds to streamline calculations.

⚠️ System Limitations

To ensure proper use of the results, the following operational limitations of the current version must be considered:

Volume of solid solute not accounted for
The algorithm temporarily assumes that the volume occupied by the solid compound is equal to "zero". Caution is advised, as in certain scenarios a heavy mass (X grams) could actually displace a volume greater than the desired final volume of the solution (this condition will be corrected in the next release).

Exclusion of evaporation processes
The program does not account for increasing concentration through solvent removal by evaporation. It is structured under the traditional assumption that the solute is available in its pure state (drug) or in a stock solution of a higher concentration than the desired final solution.

No maximum solubility restriction
The system does not validate the physical saturation limit of the compounds in the solvent. Therefore, a calculated solution might be impossible to prepare if it exceeds this limit, resulting in disproportionate theoretical values ​​(such as concentrations of 120,000 kg/L or 10,000,000 Moles). Common sense and scientific judgment should be applied in these cases.
