Lock Me Out is a powerful app and website blocker designed to help you spend less time online and more time being present. Use scheduled lockouts or usage-based rules (time in apps, app opens, device unlocks) to automatically enforce focus periods. Choose from three app blocking modes and two website modes, hide notifications, enable Do Not Disturb, silence the ringer, restrict lockouts to specific locations, and allow emergency access when needed.

Premium features unlock unlimited lockouts, apps, websites, and locations and add tamper/uninstall prevention for stricter control. The app relies on Accessibility Service permission only to detect active apps and websites; no data is collected or shared. I tried using this to limit my time on YouTube, however instead of closing YouTube, it minimizes it so the video keeps playing. I then get stuck in a frustrating loop of trying to clear the app from my screen. then trying to clear YouTube from my screen before the app blocks my screen again. Turning the screen off does nothing either as YouTube will just continue playing as soon as I open my phone again, continuing the cycle until I can eventually close the YouTube video for up to a few minutes
