I've been using this for almost 10 years. It's pretty much invaluable for not being annoyed to death by default behavior. It does take a bit to configure, and some fine-tuning as you figure out how you're really using your phone, but once you have things down? You pretty much don't have to think about timeouts, keeping the screen on, or shutting it off again.
