Used to be much better. Now, every "competition" requires you to buy something. I don't mean you have to buy something to do well. I mean you have to purchase the actual items required to even enter the competition. To even participate it will cost around $5/$10 a day. You need to spend around $100+ a day to be competitive. 2-3-25, daily competition fish $.99, which will allow you to lose every duel, or you can get the $49.99 package which will get you enough bonuses to last about 1 hour.

I played this for nearly 10 hours per day in the last month to reach level 74. It's fun, it's addicting. The fish look amazing. The only problem with this game is you are seemingly always chasing your tail. The duels are fun until you discover once you get out of the starting gate your duel opponent is usually 2 or 3 times your level which means their fishing lores are going to be leveled up way higher than yours which means they will easily catch bigger fish.
