Chess Arena is a new kind of competitive game that fuses Shogi (Japanese chess) and Chess.

This is a Chess variant that incorporates Shogi's "captured piece" system and unique rules. Captured pieces can be placed on the board as your own, expanding the range of strategies infinitely.

■ Unique Rules
- When a promoted pawn is captured, the captured piece becomes a pawn
- Prohibition of two pawns, bottom pawns, and diagonal pawn placements
- Prohibition of checkmate by dropping a pawn
- Try rule for Black only (King reaches e1 to win)
- Black wins in a draw by repetition of checks
- A draw in a draw due to continuous checks by Black
- Stalemate is equivalent to a checkmate win
