Telepeaje uy is the official application for Uruguay's electronic toll system, designed to simplify toll payments for vehicle owners. The system uses a small smart TAG sticker attached to the vehicle's windshield, which is detected by antennas at toll booths. This allows vehicles to pass through at speeds up to 20 km/h without stopping, as barriers automatically raise and toll fees are deducted seamlessly.

Users can choose between prepaid or postpaid payment options, with toll costs either debited from their prepaid balance or charged directly to their credit card.
