Most sleep sound apps give you one recording and a play button. Arrullo gives you a mixer.

Layer up to four sounds at once and set the volume of each one, until the blend is exactly the one that puts you to sleep. Rain over a distant ocean. A fan with a fireplace behind it. Wind in a cave. Your mix is saved, so the next night it is waiting for you.

Every sound is a seamless loop cut from a genuine field recording, and all eight are loudness-matched: setting a slider to the same place gives you the same loudness on any sound, so the fan does not disappear under the rain.

SLEEP TIMER
Choose 15, 30 or 60 minutes. When the time is up the mix fades out gently over half a minute instead of stopping dead, which is the difference between drifting off and waking up.

KEEPS PLAYING WHILE YOU SLEEP
Playback continues with the screen off and with the phone on silent, so you can put it face down on the nightstand.

WORKS WITH NO INTERNET AT ALL
Every sound is inside the app. Nothing streams, nothing buffers, nothing downloads. Airplane mode, a cabin in the mountains, a flight — the app does not care.
