User Reviews

Users find the Hymns app comprehensive, easy to navigate, and practical with good concordance to physical hymnals. It runs smoothly and offers useful features. However, multiple users request a modernized design and improvements to the search function, such as ignoring punctuation. Some find text alignment and navigation quirks annoying. Additionally, users want hymns from newer hymn books included. Overall, the app is highly appreciated but could benefit from UI updates and enhanced search capabilities.

Comprehensive and complete hymnal app with all the necessary hymns.
Easy to use and navigate, user-friendly interface.
Good numerical concordance with the physical hymnal book, practical for users.
App runs smoothly and is reliable.
High quality work and practical features expected from a hymnal app.

Cons

Design is outdated and could use a refresh.
Search function could be improved, especially ignoring punctuation in titles to find hymns more easily.
Some usability issues such as losing hymn display when exiting settings menu.
Text alignment options limited; users want option between centered and left-aligned text.
Missing hymns from newer hymnals, e.g., the 2013 hymnal book.
