TapAndGive

TapAndGive allows you to receive self service attended contactless donations and payments, You can set to continuously accept one denomination or have the customers selects the amount and the will process the credit and debit card payments.

You get 10 free transactions per month to test. For unlimited transactions you can activate a subscription of $2 USD per month cancellable anytime, or save 37.50% by paying $15.00 USD per year.
Payments require a Square or Sumup account.
Square and Sumup payment fees for card present payments apply.
For Square, TapAndGive adds an additional 1% per transaction.

TapandGive is intended for unattended operation, allowing the customers to tap and pay while you do other activities. This is ideal for receiving tips and donations for non for profit organizations, taxi drivers, tour bus operators, musicians, and similar.
It is also ideal for not for profit and charity organizations for collecting donations and payments.
TapAndGive supports NFC enabled android phones and tablets, allowing you to receive Square payments without the need of a Square bluetooth reader, it offers the option to enable accessibility which simplifies the user experience as the customer don't need to press any key and just tap their card to the back of the phone or tablet.

You can obtain transactions reports, pair with bluetooth printers, and configure your own videos and images.

Important: You need to keep the phone and reader connected to power as they will be running all the time and drain the battery.

You will need:

A) SQUARE:
1) Android phone or tablet compatible with Square, we recommend Samsung. For models around $100 USD we recommend Samsung Galaxy A05. If you want to accept NFC we recommend the Ulefone note 16 PRO (make sure has NFC).
2) Square application installed and merchant account activated
3) TapandGive application installed
4) Square contactless reader paired and working or an NFC enabled phone
5) Square contactless reader base (optional)
6) Power supply and cable for Square contactless reader
7) Power supply and cable for Phone
8) Signage to indicate customers how much is charged

Important: You need to disable square password, receipt and customer management in order to process contactless payments continuously and with no clerk intervention.
1) Disable Passcode. Go to settings/Security/set enable passcodes off
2) Disable Receipts and signature. Go to settings/Checkout/Signature and receipts/ set to off

1) Configure TapandGive app: Select country/currency that matches your square account
2) Accept terms and conditions and complete registration

For best operation make sure Square POS app and Tap and Give have all rights and that battery settings for those applications are set to UNRESTRICTED.

B) SUMUP READER

1) Android phone or tablet compatible with SUMUP
2) SUMUP merchant account activated
3) TapandGive application installed
4) SUMUP contactless reader paired and working
5) SUMUP contactless reader base (optional)
6) USB power supply and cable for SUMUP contactless reader
7) USB power supply and cable for Phone or Tablet
8) Signage to indicate customers how much is charged
