Why Charge Tempo?

External charging meters (USB wattmeters) measure the raw power drawn from the outlet. However, the phone's charging integrated circuit (PMIC) loses heat while converting voltage, and system components that are on at the time, such as the screen/processor, also consume power. Charge Tempo takes all these losses into account, showing you the net power reaching the battery and the estimated charger limit.
