KOPASMART

KOPASMART is Kingdom Bank’s mobile lending solution for Kenyan residents. The app offers short-term personal loans with real-time disbursement to registered M-Pesa numbers. Product options include 90-day and 120-day loans (example: 90-day loan up to Ksh 75,000, interest 12.36%; 120-day up to Ksh 100,000, interest 15.45%), with excise duty applied as required. Borrowers see loan history, recent transactions, and can use live chat for support.

The app requests Camera and Location permissions to meet CBK remote onboarding guidelines and requires acceptance of the bank’s terms and privacy policy. Eligible users are Kenyan residents 18+ with a valid ID and M-Pesa number. Repayments are via STK push or paybill (4135105) using National ID as the account number. KOPASMART encrypts user data and uses information only to verify identity and build credit profiles, safeguarding privacy and complying with security best practices.
