Features & Capabilities

Kea: Button Remapper turns a spare phone button into shortcuts for actions like toggling the torch, taking screenshots, controlling media, opening apps, and adjusting brightness. Assign different actions to single, double, or triple presses and a hold, with an on-screen confirmation beside the key. Kea also supports the power button’s long press, and Kea Pro adds volume-key remapping on compatible devices.

Kea Pro includes a floating workspace, app sidebar, conditional action sequences, screen translation, text capture, redaction, and other on-device AI tools. Kea requires Android 13 or newer and uses an accessibility service to detect button presses. The app states that its AI processing runs on-device and that it has no accounts, ads, or in-house analytics. Pro is a one-time Google Play purchase with future Pro features included.

It's an amazing app! I don't use it too often so I don't see the use in buying the subscription. there are maybe like 2 or 3 things that either look cool or that I would use. but not worth the 5 bucks. still a very helpful and nice tool!
