IBD Buddy from Health Outcomes Observatory is a tool for anyone living with inflammatory bowel disease (IBD) such as Crohn's disease or ulcerative colitis. IBD is a chronic bowel disease. This app helps you gain a better overview of your condition—regardless of your current treatment.

With the IBD Disk, you can easily and conveniently record, monitor, and save relevant information about your IBD—for example, how and to what extent the disease affects your daily life. Based on various statements about your well-being (e.g., sleep, energy levels, and social relationships), you can assess the current impact.

Based on your entries, the IBD Disk creates a visual representation of the disease's effects on your life. Complete the IBD Disk regularly and generate a report of your results, which you can share with your healthcare team.

The app also includes other helpful features for everyday life with IBD. For example, it helps you find the nearest public restroom. You can also set reminders for taking medication and for upcoming doctor's appointments.
