Play for just a few minutes a day. It's like reading a sports newspaper.

"Eye Power Baseball" is a baseball simulation for busy people. The games progress automatically; you only need to glance at the day's results once a day. You won't be tied down for hours.

(The first 10 games are essentially exhibition games. The results are released all at once, so enjoy them as a "warm-up" to assess the players' abilities.)

■ This is a game of "reading" the results.

Like unfolding a sports newspaper, you glance at the day's game results. The scores and records are listed one after another—you read the players' form and true abilities from these numbers. That's how you enjoy this game.

■ Player ability scores are not displayed at all.

Numbers like "Contact 9 / Power 8" won't appear. Who is the true ace, and who is the reliable slugger?—The only hints are the accumulating game results, the "articles." Use your own "eye power" to uncover the hidden abilities.

■ Players develop and decline on their own.

There's no need to create training menus or allocate abilities. Players naturally grow with age, reach their peak, and eventually decline and retire. Your job isn't to nurture them, but to assess them. Who are the players in their prime now? Who is ready for a generational change? Starting lineup, batting order, pitching changes—only your judgment as manager will determine the team's fate.

■ Another way to enjoy the game (optional)

If simply assessing isn't enough—you can freely edit players and teams. You can assemble your ideal nine-man team, or completely remake all the teams in the league and run your own simulation. The "assessment game" transforms into a "creation game."
