▪ WHY TACUNS USES VPNSERVICE (VPN PERMISSION)
TacUNS is a device security app. Its core feature, the firewall, needs Android's VpnService:
• It creates a LOCAL VPN on your phone so TacUNS can see which app opens each connection and block or allow it.
• It is not a remote VPN. Your traffic is not sent to any TacUNS server, and it does not hide your IP address or change your location.
• Allowed website look-ups go only to the DNS server you choose (Google by default, or Cloudflare or your own), encrypted with DNS over HTTPS by default. Blocked look-ups are answered on the phone.
• TacUNS cannot read inside secure (HTTPS) connections, messages or passwords. Nothing is collected or sold.
• Before turning on, TacUNS explains this and asks for your consent. Android then asks you to allow the VPN.
