As a musician, I was fed up. Every tab-writing app I tried was either bloated with features I didn't need, required a subscription, or was just plain clunky to use on mobile. I wanted something simple: open the app, write a tab, save it, done. No account required. No cloud sync I didn't ask for. No ads interrupting my creative flow.
