Tabata Core

Tabata Core is a fullscreen gym timer for Tabata-style and HIIT workouts: configure sets, reps, work intervals, and rests (including optional warmup and cooldown). No account required. Optional Tabata Core StopWatch companion sync over Bluetooth mirrors your timer on a esp32 stopwatch device when you pair one.

PRIVACY
• Timer settings stay on your phone — we do not run servers for your workout data
• StopWatch sync is peer-to-peer over Bluetooth between your phone and watch; we do not receive that data on our servers
• No ads or analytics SDKs in the app

SAFETY & YOUR DEVICE
• Not medical advice — you choose intervals and intensity; train within your ability
• During workouts the screen may stay on and an optional notification may run — this uses more battery than idle use until the session ends
• You may be asked to allow notifications if you enable the background workout notification
• If you enable StopWatch sync and tap Scan & pair, Android may ask for Nearby devices (Bluetooth) permission — used only to find and connect your StopWatch, not for location
• StopWatch sync and a paired watch are optional; the app works fully as a phone-only timer without Bluetooth
• If Android closes the app in the background, resume behaviour can vary by phone manufacturer
• Uninstall or clear app storage to remove all saved settings, checkpoints, and paired watch info
