Split Step Trainer helps you train your badminton footwork — and your split step in particular.

The split step is the small preparatory jump you make just as your opponent hits the shuttle. Timing it is what lets you react in any direction: too early and you're committed before you know where the shuttle is going; too late and it's already past you.

This app trains that timing. Two balls move toward each other on the screen — when they meet, that's the moment of contact: perform your split step, then move in the direction the balls fly. Simple, but it drills the one thing that's hard to practise alone — reacting at the right instant.
