Reliable background synchronization with NAS, keeping phone and desktop up to date.

Strong core note-taking/to-do functionality that serves basic needs.

Cons

Significant battery drain / high background power usage on multiple Android versions.
Unreliable syncing and login problems, including persistent syncing notifications and occasional failure to sync with NAS.
Outdated UI/feature set and slow to modernize; lacks updates compared to newer apps.
Widget functionality is broken or unreliable (cannot open notes from widget, slow to edit).
Limited data portability due to missing import/export options (no easy import from Evernote/Joplin; export not supported).

Recent reviews

Once the sync is broken theres no fixing it and notes are stuck where they are or have to be deleted upon new connection back to nas.

I find this an excellent notes app replacement for MS OneNote. It may not be 100% as good as OneNote but it is pretty close. Syncing anywhere between phone, tablet and PC is great when using Quick connect address. Sharing notes is easy. Using note books, bookshelf functions helps in organising everything. overall a good app. Works well on my Google Pixel 8 Pro.
