SyncTogether: Watch Party

SyncTogether brings people together in private shared rooms. Watch YouTube videos together, enjoy music with a shared queue, study and research with your group, chat in real time, and share supported media with the people you invite.

Create a private room, invite your partner, friends, family, classmates or team, and enjoy shared experiences even when you're apart.

WATCH TOGETHER — WATCH PARTY

Create a watch party and watch supported YouTube videos together in a shared room. Play, pause and playback changes can be synchronized between room members so everyone can follow the same experience.

Chat, reply, react and discuss what you're watching in real time.

Great for friends, couples, long-distance relationships, movie nights and group hangouts.

LISTEN TO MUSIC TOGETHER

Turn your room into a shared listening space. Build a collaborative music queue, add tracks, see what's playing and enjoy a listening session together.

Discover music, share tracks and let room members participate in the shared queue.

STUDY & RESEARCH TOGETHER

Create a study room for focused collaboration. Use shared notes, tasks and a group focus timer to organize your work and stay productive together.

Research rooms support in-app browsing of supported web content, allowing you to explore websites, share links and continue your research within your workspace.

Ideal for students, study groups, project teams and remote collaborators.

CHAT, REACT AND CONNECT

Use group chat to stay connected while watching, studying, researching or spending time together. Send messages, reply to conversations and react in real time.

Depending on available room features, participants can also join voice or video conversations.

SHARE FROM YOUR DEVICE

Share supported photos, videos and other local media from your device with people in your room.

You choose what you share and when, making it easy to enjoy shared media during a watch party, study session or group hangout.
